5 Ways to Show Them How Great You Are

Every day you need to have the mindset that you are going to show people how great you are. This has to be what motivates you through the tough days and times. When you walk into a room, when you are on a call, when you are making a pitch and even when you are just passing by. Do these 5 things to always show people how great you are.

Listen Better

We are moving faster and faster. People are busier than ever hopping from one thing to the next. Business is moving at the speed of light. Listening has become more important than ever. Listen to yourself, your peers, your employees and your customers. When you listen better you’ll know exactly what needs done.

Be Present

You need to be present in every aspect of your day. Present with yourself, present in the meetings, present in the conversations. Become present with your organization, your team and the culture. Being present in all that you do is the only way to show honor and respect.

Be an Asset in Every Interaction

The moment you enter an interaction with someone you are having an impact. Is the impact improving the situation or bringing it down? Your presence has an impact and you need to be aware of what that impact is. Being aware of the impact your presence is having can help you change it to become more meaningful and to make you an asset in every interaction.

Think Bigger

Fight of contentment by having an insatiable hunger for something more, something bigger. Great success comes to those who are always competing with themselves and who are always outshining their last accomplishment. Celebrate your accomplishments and then ask how can I do that bigger.

Take Care of Your People

You seldom get to where you are without the help of others. You have to take care of the people who contributed to your development, growth and success. Thank them with a note, with a word or with a favor. Pay them back by honoring their influence in your life by doing right by them. Pay it forward by providing that same guidance to others. People will forget everything about you but they will never forget how you treated them.
