Setbacks, Mistakes and Failures
“Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out.” John Wooden
Success isn’t happenstance. Success comes from hard work, pushing forward and releasing regrets. Most people will struggle with setbacks, mistakes and failures. Dwelling on these will guarantee that you stop moving forward, your progress will stop and success won’t come knocking on your door. Sometimes making the best of how things work out is acknowledging that it didn’t and moving on to something different.
It is so important to understand and learn from your mistakes and failures. Spend just enough time rehashing them so that you know how to avoid them in the future and then archive them away in the deepest corner of your mind. Revisit them only when the lesson learned is needed while on your journey to success.
When you stop looking back and beating yourself up you free yourself from the handcuffs that are stopping your forward momentum. By timing the release of a setback, mistake or failure correctly you open yourself up to receiving success.
