You have the best of intentions. You come up with some goals and a plan of how you will meet them. Then just as it is time to get started you find something else to do and usually that something else is not productive. You think I’ll start tomorrow. When tomorrow comes you think one more day and I will get started. Before you know it weeks and months have gone by and you are no closer to your goal than when you set it. You’ve lost the most expensive thing on earth, time. #EndProcrastination and stop feeling like a failure.
As the weeks and months go by, without even realizing it, you are beating yourself up, criticizing yourself, your conscious beings to speak to you in self-defeating language. You feel unworthy, a failure and unlucky.
Stop the self-induced feelings of a failure. Stop saying you will start tomorrow. Take action, any action today. Even the smallest of actions towards accomplishing your goals will give you the feeling of progress. Start with a small step and every day take another one. After so many days you will have built a habit and a routine of working on your goals. Once that happens you will feel like a success and then there will be no stopping you.
